Mission

Provide the Aerospace, Defense and Advanced Manufacturing (ADAM) sector with a collaborative infrastructure to leverage investments and share risks to solve common pre-competitive technology challenges to accelerate the transition of science discovery into high performance materials.

Concurrently, NDCC facilitates the development of education and training programs to assist current ADAM sector workers to stay current with continuously advancing technologies and to prepare future workers - the talent pipeline.


Organization Structure & Operations

  • NDCC is a program of the North Texas Commission's North Texas Future Fund, a non-profit, tax-exempt organization.
  • Located at Fort Worth's Alliance Airport, which anchors the nation's second largest ADAM industrial cluster.
  • NDCC Governing Board is led by industry and is composed of Founding Industry and Universtiy organizations. Industry members determine NDCC direction, policies, technology and skills pipeline projects. 
  • Members sign participation agreements with uniform terms for engaging with each other and participating research universities
    • Payment of dues
    • Assignment of personnel for technology projects
    • IP Policy
  • Funding for operations and research is a combination of member dues, member sponsored programs and external sources.
  • Research activity and research equipment are located at research universities and industry member laboratories.
